not enough promotion!!!!!hi all
just my opinion but i dont think this club gets enough promotion!!!
i see a fair few paople out there with toys and they certainly arnt on here!!!!!
why??????

Any ideas on how we better promote ourselves? We ain't going to spend money advertising but do get some free publicity because of the charitable work we've done over the last couple of years. I also advertise our meetings free on "Pistonheads.com".
Also what are the advantages of a bigger club? At the moment its a fairly close knit community with everyone knowing everyone else. The last time the club membership topped 35 members it started to fragment with some people not recognising others peoples cars as valid marques to be part of the club. It almost resulted in the club folding completely.
If you look at the number of people who have turned up to thier first meeting and never come back over the past few years its obvious that what we do doesn't appeal to everyone who owns a kitcar or special.
I'm all for expansion but not at the expense of losing a "club" atmosphere.

was unaware of the past events so appologise for that!!! just thought a bit more knowledge etc etc
