Looking forward to 2006 (AGM report)For those who couldn't attend the AGM or those who did but were too pi**ed to hear what went on.
Summary:
Committee - DA re-elected chairman (unopposed), TJ re-elected treasurer (unopposed), JW re-elected events secretary (unopposed), newsletter editor not required.
Finances - Club on sound financial footing but too much cash in hand. Therefore no subs required for 2006/7 and club to finance free BBQ's at Newark and Harrogate shows 2006. Zoes place is nominated charity again for 2006/7.
Total handed over to Zoes place for 2005 - c. £1600 well done to all and thanks to all who contributed to this fine effort.
Newsletters - none since Oct 2005 and club has suffered slightly with poor communication. Bill & Sue offered to produce monthly summary of events to be given out at meetings. Relevant info will be posted in this forum for those not attending meetings.
Meetings - 2nd Monday meetings will remain at the Pathfinders. Summer 4th Monday meetings will be a "run out" starting at Stewarts Park (various destinations)
