Sounds a good idea. Like the idea of the motor museum there. What route would you look to take if you're planning back roads all the way?

yarm-northallerton-bedale-leyburn-hawes-sedbergh-kendal-then onto the road heading for barrow in-furness, this takes you to the turn off to Holker hall .
I've been this route upto sedbergh in the dax one afternoon for a run out , brilliant roads, a bit bumpy in some parts,or it could be my dampers were a bit hard.
