Car Show Darlington Sunday 17th of August 2008Hi,
On Sunday 17th August, I need some cars to show in Darlington. It's in conjunction with their Summer Market Spectacular (http://www.darlington.gov.uk/culture/markets/summer.htm)
We'll have a whole street cordoned off right in the town centre. If it's a successful day, this will become a regular North East American Car Club event. I am even hoping to make it a weekender. If you are interested, please let me know at least a week in advance. It's no good just turning up on the day as I need to allocate space before the day!!!
There is also a show on Sunday 3rd August at Leyburn. It's in aid of Motor Neurone Disease. Hope to see you there.

I would just like to thank Karen Bulmer from the North East American Car Club for inviting us to the Darlington Market Spectacular, it was a real good turn out and even though it rained for the 1st 30 minutes of being there it was a brilliant show  then it was take your coat's off get the sun chair's out and melt in the glorious sunshine  until the end of the show 
In 2009 the Darlington Market Spectacular will be allowing the cars to show in the market square itself and everyone is welcome
There was market stalls from all over Europe selling all manner of goods, the food stalls sold all kinds of items and the smell was amazing So all you women out there in the club scene you don't have to be bored, do what you all do best

We, being me and Alan Fixter were sat along side folks from the Sunderland and District Classic Vehicle Society who made our day a good time with good banter and giggles and I would like to personally thank them for that
They mentioned that there is a show at Seaburn next weekend and I will post them detail's as soon as possible 
This show at Darlington is a must for everyone especially as it is close to home and there is loads to do, so keep your eyes open for next year
