Hi,
I'm the technical writer for Complete Kitcar Magazine and I need some help. I have been asked to write an article about converting the Ford Zetec engines to an inline configuration to replace the Pinto and Crossflow motors. I know nothing about the more modern Fords being basically a Mini specialist myself. I need details on suitable engine mounts, gearboxes and clutches as well as the possibility of running carbs rather than injection and alternative ignition systems too. Being based in Chester le Street I'm looking for someone in the North who may have done a fitment similar to this and would be willing to share any useful information and let me photograph the car for the article.
Is there anyone in your club who might be able to help me out?
