I am posting this on behalf of our friends from Sunderland and District Classic Vehicle Society who have entertained us on many previous occasions in the past.
This is copied from a leaflet supplied from Ian Davison the Father of Gary and the secretary of the S&DCVS
One of our founder members GARY DAVISON (37 years old) collapsed and died suddenly and unexpectedly in the early hours of Sunday the 5th of November 2006,leaving behind a wife and 2 young children.
Gary was my eldest son,if you did not know Gary by name you will probally remember him for his Ford Granada (especially his bright yellow hearse)
We are having a memorial run on the above date to Carlisle (via the Military Road) to The Turf Pub for lunch,after a couple of hours in Carlisle we will be calling into the Newburn Car Museum on the way back for those who would like to visit it.
We would like you to use your classic car (kit or yank) but if you prefer to use a modern vehicle you are still welcome to come along.
